Ibis Munich Nord is a normal Ibis, thus not luxurious, but great value for money, as it is on a direct metro to the Airport and to the centre of Munich. The staff is courteous and very helpful.

Nothing to complain. It is a standard Ibis hotel with everything you expect from Ibis. It is conveniently located next to a metro station. The hotel has underground parking. The reception personnel were nice and welcoming.

Every member of staff so helpful nothing was too much trouble for them.

On arrival we were told the hotel was fully booked, despite having checked in online. More rooms must have been booked to customers than the capacity of the hotel. So online check-in was pointless even through card details had been given. Our 2 rooms were booked, but due to a computer error only one room was recorded as having a card authorisation. The staff were initially very unhelpful and argumentative. Eventually a second room was offered and the rooms were satisfactory.

This is exactly like online check-in at airlines. No matter how many seats / rooms you have booked, each passenger / room must be checked in separately. Great location if you travel by car: The hotel is very close to the Autobahn, there is free parking on the road, the U-Bahn is very close. You can walk through the Nordfriedhof to the Englischer Garten and to the Isar.

Lufthansa bus across the street, U-bahn on the corner, pastry shop next door. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Did not use the pop-up food or the breakfast buffet this time. Reeptionists are not very chatty but are efficient. Internet plus is not worth it, signal is the same.

Thanks for the review, I hope the recoptionists have on your next arrival more time. Trie anything after 8 pm. The signal for free wifi and the wifi plus is the same. With wifi plus you have unlimited acces. The free wifi could be slow when to many user are ate the same time online. Most of the time there is absolutely no difference. Kind regards Andreas Fischer

there was an extremely loud fan which could not be turned of and it was just as loud in the next room after I asked for a room switch.

Wir sind stets bestrebt, unseren Gästen zu jedem Zeitpunkt eine optimale Servicequalität anzubieten. Ihre Meinung ist für uns daher von größtem Interesse. Die Lüftung der Zimmer wird um 20:30 Uhr auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die durchschnittlichen Werte liegen dann bei 45 db. I am a tea drinker and it was possible to get a 1l thermos with hot water each time I asked. All the people were very friendly and helpful. Will come back again if in Munich. Furthermore, very close by the bus to the airport and metro to city center.

old & cold design and extremely simplistic

The temperature is variable. Therefore we have in evry room a second heating system which is served by the guest himselve. I am sorry for the old fassioned produkt I assure that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem. All our efforts are concentrated in preventing future occurrences. I wasn't at all satisfied with the checking in experience. I came from a very far distance in Africa and I waited for some hoursat the lobby before I was allowed to check in. I was very tired, hungry and I needed to fresh up but I was denied. I worked with Leyhausen Research GMBH Leverkusen and they have sorted out payment but unfortunately they didn't get credit card details of my company at Ibis hotel and they didn't ask for it. Our MD also gave standing order instructions that he would make the payment but I was still denied check in. It was a very bad and disappointed experience. There should be a standing order agreement between both parties ahead of checking in. Thank you Looking forward to a more fruitful and productive years ahead. Dankeschön Vielen dank. A.

I went to my room around 23:40, got myself ready for bed and found a bedbug on the sheet. I killed it, brought it down to the reception and changed rooms. After I woke up with a bite on my calf. I really hope that I haven't brought home any of those but I fear the worst. Please, do a big extermination on the whole hotel for the sake of health...
