It is located in a calm area however not in the city centre. What I liked the most was that they made a very nice corona proof breakfast buffet to let us choose ourself and then take it to our room rather than prepared package. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and gave us a covid-safe feeling. Beds were comfortable, sofa and desk with chair was useful. Breakfast options could have been better/more variety. For example, more bread types and sandwich spreads could have been offered. Could take into account neighbouring guests with kids, for instance situating families in rooms on lowest floor so that running kids’ footsteps are not heard by guests on floor below them.

Friendly staff but we won't be going back

Despite the fact that all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming we were disappointed with the hotel. Because of Corona we had dinner and breakfast in our room. With two adults and two children there was quite bit of mess. I asked twice for a hoover or brush to sweep the floor but never got one. For dinner, we got a local takeaway but were charged 1.50 euros each for a paper plate and plastic cutlery by hotel reception so that we could eat it. It wasn't so much the money as the message it gave off "we're happy to have you stay during Corona but if you don't eat from out restaurant we'll charge you". The breakfast was also quite basic, I had expected more. I also found it a little strange that even though the hotel was outside the city centre that guests had to pay to park at the hotel but maybe this is normal for some hotels.

Overall satisified, but not happy about the fact that I could not pay my stay with my earned Accor points (I accumulated more than 35.000 points in the past). I checked one week before arrival with the hotel how this should be done nowadays. In the past I had to print out all the vouchers, which then had to be tediously entered into the system. I was told that this was no longer necessary and that my points account could be debited at check-out in the hotel. However, the system did not work. In order not to hold up the receptionist (named Charlotte) it was agreed that my Amex account would be debited. They would fix it later and then credit my Amex account. I was told I should get feedback in a few days. I checked out on July 23 and we are now July 27th and I have not heard anything yet ...

A very nice experience overall. Front office staff deserve a special note for their support and resilience given the strange times. Family room is in line with novotel standards. The smell on the coridors was quite unpleasant.

The smell in the coridors might come from the desinfection spray that we now use more frequently in the corridors to be on the safe side, however we also find the smell of the spray a bit too strong and we will look for other options. We all had a brilliant stay here for 2 nights. The staff were great! Really friendly and helpful.. They did everything that they could to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. I requested a room with a bath, it wasn't available for the first night but they managed to move us for the second. They answered all my emails regarding the booking. They provided extra bedding for the second night too, on request. We wou definitely return again.

To much to wait at hte check.in, even if already done on-line. The room was quite old. In the breakfast room tables were not so clean, because of a large number of people at that moment. The outdoor of the hotel was nice.

Nice hotel, good facilities, pool, bar, kids area a short walk into the old quarter about 20min. Helpful staff, clean rooms well serviced. Great breakfast, Lots to do at night in town the hotel has its own mini bus that you can hire if you don’t want to walk into town or the weather is inclement.
