Our room was overlooking the basin de l’est, where the river cruise ships dock. These carry around 130 passengers rather than the usual cruise ships holding up to 6000, so not causing crowding in the town. It’s great having an espresso machine for coffee and a fridge with drinks etc.

Excellent choice for a stay in Honfleur

Parkwood Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

This was our second visit to this hotel chosen for its location and facilities incl electric car charging within the private car park. It is not the most luxurious Mercure but well maintained and it has a bar and small seating area. The breakfast area can feel a bit crowded as it is relatively small but the buffet is of a high quality in keeping with Mercures standards. All the staff were without exception friendly and helpful. And a big thanks to the housekeeping team the hidden part of a hotel yet in many ways the most important. Can recommend this hotel fully and it is very well placed to be able to work to the vieux port and all the dining that offers.

Nice room, although I was surprised to get a disabled room, not something I like. Staff very nice with the exception of the ladt on the front desk on the Monday. I queied the breakfast buffet as it was not as good as it had been on the 2 previous mornings. There was a leftover sioled bacon dish and another one with boiled jacket potatoes. No scrambled egg initially, these arrived later.
