We arrived at 17:00 busy check in, we were given a room on the ground floor. It smelt a little musty , damp maybe. Asked the lovely young lady at the front desk if we could change rooms. She said they were all full. I have asthma and it was difficult for me to breath the musty air. After maybe an hour, I went to see her again to see if we could find something. She did!!! Yay!! Moved us upstairs, new room better air. She was very kind even though I was getting testy. It all worked out. Dinner was excellent too!!

Super friendly staff and nice location

We had a late arrival but we were greeted with a smile and kindness. Checkin was super fast, room clean. We were even allowed a beer on the terrasse despite the very late arrival and closure of the restaurant. Bed could have been more comfy and there was some small noise (drops) but nothing important. In the morning, the staff was also super friendly. Parking is with closed gates at night for safety and even has 6 EV chargers. It is just surprising that EV charger charges you 2€/5 min when charge is finished... while you are at night at an hotel. Does the operator consider you should wake up in the middle of the night to move your car ??

Aircon not working

The aircon was not working in our room or any other of the rooms this hot summer weekend. The staff explained that it would take until sometimes next week to do something about it. They were nice and apologetic so not their fault. It is however very unprofessional for a large company like Accor/Ibis not to have a service function during weekends. We complained and were compensated, but the night was very stuffy and unpleasant.

We have stayed here for many years and enjoyed our time here, We did again last weekend, however using the All Accor app we decided to eat in the hotel and booked half board for 1 night as it was our choice of stop over. After the meal We were informed that one person was half board and had to pay the food bill for the other, The app was straight forward room for 2 persons , Breakfast for 2 persons and I booked The evening meal for 2 persons. I feel if I was conned in paying for the extra meal. I asked at the hotel reception but the lady didn’t seem to understand, I just paid and left. I like this hotel but won’t book here next time. I don’t like being conned.
