as the hotel was very empty the whole visit was dominated by few people, closed bars and deserted restaurants it was a new set of experiences for us. the room was excellent as usual and the few staff that were on duty were accommodating and professional.

I did the online check-in but it didn't speed anything up. Still spent about 15 minutes at the counter while the employee checked me in. I was given a room next to the elevators which turned out to be on the noisy side. The hotel itself was quite nice and very clean. The staff very friendly.

No charger for EV for a 4 star hotel??

Needed to chatge my EV...no charger not even a 110 volt plug anywhere to charge at 5 miles an hour. We are in SV honestly... Spent evening on a wild goosechase to find a charger. How can you be a 4 star Hotel?

Stayed 3weeks. All staff were friendly, accommodating. Room was spacious. Only comment, and it is minor, the final night of our stay there was an Indian wedding event with thumping music that went on well past our 10pm bedtime. Our room unfortunately was just across the lot from the venue. I would love to come back and see some elite crew races (past oarsman myself).

Anniversary weekend getaway. Location close to our activities in Half Moon Bay, our tour of Filoli Estate and up to San Francisco for dinner. Staff was very friendly and quick to respond. Justin was very helpful and was able to give us a room with a view of the laguna. Will definitely stay there again.

The stay at the hotel was great! However, the customer service I received before my stay was not satisfying, I had called to confirm my stay at the hotel because I didn’t not receive a confirmation email. So I called to make sure I still had a a room. A lady who was very rude and giving me a hard time answered the phone (never got her name). Overall I it was a nice stay.

As many people - we have not done much in the past year and we’re hesitant to plan anything. The staff at the hotel made us feel safe with a clean environment the front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. Justin helped us get in a little early to decorate the room for our birthday boy. They were supportive with us celebrating in a safe fashion and I have nothing but great things to say. Karina at the front desk was also super helpful and friendly which just makes it easier to feel right at home - we will be back!

We arrived from SFO after a long day of traveling. Freezing cold winds welcome us without a bellboy in sight and five suitcases and three carry-ons. I go to check in inside and the poor lady just looks exhausted. I asked her if she could please get me a bellboy and said” I am so sorry we do not have bell boys due to COVID-19.” I didn’t worry because I figured nothing Dirty martini can’t fix. So I ask her what are the hours of the restaurant & bat and she says the restaurant and the bar or not available and when I looked over it was pitch black. She then continues to let me know that there is in room dining and I was so disappointed looking forward to actually enjoying a martini overlooking the water which is what the Pullman hotel and Redwood Shores is known for. Interesting because we have traveled the world and everybody else seems to have bellboys and at least a restaurant where there is a minimal menu. I do understand if it is a lower caliber hotel WHICH it is not unless that has changed. I happen to be a Redwood Shores resident who was in the process of remodeling my home and felt comfortable returning to my temporary place being the Pullman Hotel. It is truly sad to see that the few staff that is there seems to be running on fumes. After I go up to my hotel room I let my husband know that we are no longer eating out downstairs. We order a burger two cokes and a mineral water and a side of lime juice. My $65 bill later I still don’t understand how that equaled out but I was so exhausted that I didn’t have time to even look at the receipt closely. I had figured dinner downstairs would’ve been $100 anyway but what a disappointing way to spend $65. Burger was great Until the kids running up and down the halls interrupted my meal. I didn’t mind since it was only about 8:30 PM. After we watched some meaningless TV and wanted to finally go to sleep around 930 the kids continue to run down the hallways and hear the mother struggling to get them in the room. I called downstairs and ask them to check on the noise and it seem to go away about a couple hours later. I wasn’t surprised because again the poor staff is way overworked and there is no way that they are going to be successful and they are being set up to fail. In the morning I had to wake up early and be ready to go regardless of the lack of sleep and as I go downstairs and see overworked lady in the coffee shop as three people in the hotel that seem to be somewhat of executives never greeted us or said good morning to us but yet we had probably been the only guest there besides a bigger group heading to bed that we had seen when we were checking in. The only reason I assume they were executives is because they walked around and looked at the property and seemed very happy with their conversation but not very concerned with any of the actual guests staying at the hotel. Also we were carrying five suitcases and the three carry-ons that we arrived with and no one seem to be worried about our ability to get it out through the front door. Their meeting of three seemed more important than any of the patrons there. Ironically enough I think they were the only ones that were there when we left the hotel besides the lady serving coffee in the coffee shop and the Check In lady. There was also a gentleman walking around seemed like a manager but he seem to wander aimlessly away from the executives and also from the patrons. God help him.

Old, Odorous, Overpriced

The hotel is old and stale. Windows do not open above the 3rd floor. The first hotel room we were put in had an extremely offputting odor. The hotel staff kindly moved us to another room which did not have a bad odor, but we'd be lying if we said we had a good night of sleep. There is a weird energy/weird vibes in the hotel. We had a good coffee for breakfast the next morning, but the breakfast sandwiches from the cafe smelled so bad that we threw them out and avoided eating them in fear of getting sick. Staff are nice, but the hotel is an overpriced tourist trap. Not staying here ever again.

Not as good as it has been in the past

I have stayed at the Pullman for several occasions and this past visit just didn't sit right. Overall We love the location and the pool views, we even look past the parking fees and really love staying here, but we had customer service issues that were not resolved. I had made the reservation for a family member knowing they would be uncomfortable knowing how much we really paid, to avoid this I repeatedly asked how we can I can pay and left my credit card on file so they would check in hassle free. This didn't happen, the front desk person very business like pretty much said I should just pay my family member back. I would have arranged to check them in myself if I knew this, but I had specifically asked how to avoid this. I was unhappy this couldn't be resolved or that we were not offered something small to make up for it. I had offered a few resolutions and there didn't seem room to compromise for their mistake. The room then had hair in the bathroom floor which we then switched rooms. Maybe it was just an off weekend but hosting people there for mothers day did not go as smooth as I had hoped for a $450 weekend.

The hotel would get a 10, but the room felt stuffy and a bit stale because there are no windows that can be opened in the room and because of Covid, it seems like air has not been moving as much as normal. Otherwise, loved the hotel.

Pet Friendly But Beware

We were traveling for a medical appointment. The room was nice and the beds are comfortable. No coffee maker in room. If you are traveling with a pet be ready with an additional $300 at check-in. We were also surprised by the parking which was an additional $112 for our 4 day stay.

I go to this Hotel often for family medical reasons and I am never disappointed. I can't wait for their food service to open because it is wonderful. This hotel is very close to Sequoia Hospital and to the San Francisco Airport

Beautiful hotel, room, beds, ambience ! Housekeeper woke us up 3 times, knocking the door persistently at 9am, Then again at 12pm even though the FD agent on c/i was notified about our 1pm departure and ok'ed it... On c/o Sana (if I am not mistaken) was friendly and apologized for early disturbance of our sleep. She waved our parking fee, which was very nice of her! Thank you, great service! we will came back to pullman next time we visit san francisco in september
