Found between my reservation being accidentally cancelled and the front desk basically not knowing of the special wedding rate we had, th3 front desk didn’t know what they were doing.

Stayed for one night for a wedding. I booked the reservations months prior knowing the date and group block for the wedding. Last minute our dog had surgery and we decided to bring the dog since it was a pet friendly hotel. I called to make changes to the room, which they accommodated easily, then I called again to change the length of our stay, which they accommodated easily. I appreciate how flexible the staff were. I loved the location. Although we do not live far from Toronto (1.5 hours) it was an hour of the city I have never explored. It was a great and safe area; lots of restaurants, bakeries, cafes, movies and a park right across the street for the dog! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The reason for deducting one star was when I was phoning to talk to staff to change the reservation, the phone would ring for an extremely long time before someone answered - if you have the same experience, just keeping letting it ring - they will eventually answer, and they will be helpful!

On arrival my shower wasn't working and on departure I left a white shirt in the bathroom which must have been disposed of instead of passed to lost property, as upon calling the hotel nothing had been handed in.
