I had called the Accor’s central reservation number from Zurich Airport for my reservation. It was a not a planned journey as my previous flight got cancelled and I had to reroute my travel through Zurich. I specifically asked the associate helping me with reservation, if they had a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel; to which the associate confirmed that Novotel has a shuttle service from airport to hotel, but he’d direct me to the shuttle only once I confirm the booking. I was travelling with my family and had a lot of luggage with me as we were going back after attending a family wedding, so having a shuttle to hotel would be somewhat helpful. Having stayed at same hotel earlier in same month (I travelled to Zurich by bus previously), I had no issues in confirming my details to book my reservation. After the reservation was confirmed, the associate forwarded my call to the front desk of the hotel as they’d direct me to the shuttle service at the airport. At that point I was shocked to learn from front desk that Novotel doesn’t have any shuttle services at all. On calling back to the reservation number, the same person who got our booking never came on call. Since my card was already charged, I had no options but to reach hotel by doing a cab by spending extra money. I complained the matter to the hotel staff at reception, but they couldn’t do anything about it. The hotel staff was though very helpful and I got a late checkout as my flight was next evening. I have no complaints against the hotel staff, but reservation associate lied to get my reservation. There were number of hotels nearer to the airport offering shuttle services which I could’ve booked, but having stayed in Novotel, I preferred it and got cheated. My advice would be to reach to the shuttle and then confirm your booking and not before.

Stayed for a night in their newly renovated room on the 7th floor. Renovation has definitely uplifted the room. The only thing needs attention is air-conditioning. In winters, the room can become very stuff and hot.

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Zurich Airport Messe! The location is incredibly convenient, just steps from a tram stop with service running from 5 AM to midnight daily. Whether you’re heading to Zurich HB station or catching a flight, getting around is a breeze 🚋✈️. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making check-in and every interaction a pleasure 😊. My room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for comfort, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or meetings. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. Clean, comfortable, well-connected, and warm hospitality, what more could you ask for? Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers! 💼🧳
