The reception personnel was very competent and polite. They gave us complete information about nearby restaurants and pharmacies. The sauna and steam bath are very good. The Rituals cosmetics in the bathroom are top quality. It is very clean and tidy. The only thing that struck me upon entering the hotel was the unpleasant smell from a swamp or sewerage sustem.

Overall was quite disappointed with the fact that water is served only during check in despite the fact that I stayed for 5 nights. Subsequently housekeeping was disappointing too. We were given only one towel in one of the days when there was two of us. And one pillow went missing. We reported but was not replaced. One of the worse experience I have stayed in the whole Accor group, as a gold member.

Every time we stop in Gent we experience great service in Novotel Gent Centrum. The key is great location and spacious rooms. Another reason to visit is pets friendly policies which is great for my little Westie. Definitely we back in summer for more walks around Gent .
