Helpful and pleasant staff who selected and booked three restaurants for our evening meals outside the hotel . After we had obtained a second chair for our room and after someone came up to open the safe, we found thr room comfortable with an excellent view. Very good locaton and the breakfsasts were fine. A pleasant three night stay.....we will come again next year!

Old fashioned Hotel which is looking tired. Overpriced for what it is. Bedroom was very small (weirdly oversized bathroom).

The location is good for a city visit of Lille. Hotel could do with an upgrade interior wise. Breakfast is ok but more. It should not be hard to update the quality of food and make it way better than today. Staff is excellent, charming and caring.

We stayed for 2 nights in 2 separate rooms - 1 for the children and 1 for adults. The children were upgraded to a Jr Suite and the check-in procedure was very smooth, warm and courteous. This was the 1st time for us staying at a Mercure, as we typically stay at M Gallery, Pullman or Sofitel. The hotel itself was very well situated in the heart of Lille and near the train station. We expected the hotel to be considerably more upscale than what it actually was especially from the pictures. But apart from that, we really have NO complaints. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was very polite and helpful. It was ideal for the purpose of our stay.

Having stayed in quite a few Accor hotels, including in France, this stay fell markedly short of my expectations. I booked a Privilege room, as I usually do, but this was considerably inferior to other Privilege standards. The room was tiny. So much that the only place to put my case was in the shower room! The bed was also smaller than in other Privilge rooms. I’d paid for Bed and Breakfast but quite honestly I didn’t want to have breakfast in the room, as it was no pleasure at all to be there. Also, the lounge was not well decorated or comfortable or up to modern standards. And the breakfast area looked basic. Having a drink or meal there would not be pleasant. To make things worse, there was a real shortage of staff. When I arrived and later when I came down planning to have a drink only one poor member of staff was trying to do everything. This wasn’t his fault and he was pleasant, but it all added to the impression I had come to a basic 2 star hotel for business travellers, not to one of the Mercure hotels I normally enjoy. The decoration was also very tired. I will definitely not be returning to that hotel, which overall was not good value for the money I paid. I’ll certainly give Accor another chance, but will be more careful in checking out the details in future. I had just come from the Accor McGallery hotel in Arles which fully met my expectations and provided a delightful experience. But this didn’t!

Great location, lovely employees, clean room, good beds, good bathroom. Very nice service. The rooms are "European small" of course, but extremely efficient and comfortable. Walkable from the train station.

Travelled with some friends to the Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants show and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, great location and service. Plus the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Loved it!

Excellent location in the city center. Lots of attractions nearby. Public parking is nearby. 2 mins to walk and not too expensive 29.- EUR from Friday eve to Sunday aftrenoon. The suite we had was spacey with living and bedroom as well as huge bathroom with window. Furniture is in very good condition but looks anyway old fashioned, Some medium high white closets do not really fit to the style - gives anyway a bit of strange mix.. Staff was very friendly and attentative. B'feast was very rich, waiter and waitress took care for everything. Do not have a real restaurant but you can prpare some microwave food. Bar has a good choice! Unfortunately card insert for power supply was broken. Recetionit fixed it as good as he can but was not repaired the next day - well was Saturday.. Really no drama! Whenever in future in Lille I will return as for loctaion and staff. They are not only friendly but chaleureux, whicht is much more!

I'm puzzled by the Accor groups branding strategy. The Mercure in Lyon was superb, modern & the staff could not have been more helpful. In Lille the hotel is tired, has very cheap & tacky decoration, particularly in the bedrooms. The hotel had two staff working on Saturday evening who could not even find any crisps to go with drinks! Cognac was served in 'toothbrush' tumbler! Air conditioning in the room didn't work. There are many good hotels nearby in the centre who provide better value for money!

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Eurostar terminal . its 2 minutes away from the Main square and almost all the things to see....and places to eat The staff are really helpful, and the rooms well kept with good Bathrooms.

Everything was fine and the staff was good and friendly. The only negative point was some noise during the first night coming from the music of the ground floor. The TV screen could be larger for a junior suite (we have been upgraded).

Although I stayed only one night, the hotel is excellent. It's located just in the center, very close to everything. As a Gold member, I received every benefit possible, something that happens very rarely with Accor hotels. The room is not very big but it has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the memory pillow was just great. The breakfast room has quite a funky look, you get the impression you are in a large kitchen. The food variation was ok, nothing extraordinary. I would definitely stay here the next time I come to Lille
