Hi I stayed in hotel mercure berlin tegel airport. And got unpleasant services. 1. Overall services of the staffs - The pick-up hotel van driver seemed old, seemed that he has physical difficulty to put customer‘s luggage inside the van. I had to put my two heavy luggages by myself. Even the uber taxi drivers are put their customers luggages in the car nowadays. 2. 15% Discount coupon for room-service. - With the reason of the speciality of this hotel, If the customers want to eat something, must order in hotel unless having a car. The thing is when the receptionist gave me the 15% discount coupon, she informed me ‚to show the discount coupon to room-service staff.’ So when I ordered dinner, a room-service staff came with the food. I asked the room-service staff if I need to pay right away and he said I can pay later with the checking out. Plus he didn‘t ask me about the discount coupon or anything. So I thought, this meant ok to showing the discount coupon when I pay with the money TOGETHER. However, when I was checking out next day, the same receptionist from yesterday who gave me that coupon told me she can‘t give me the discount. with the reason of „I didn‘t show to the room-service staff“. and she didn‘t explain any other reasons that why I can‘t use that when I’m paying. She just literally said „Sorry No“ and that was all. I'm not sending this complaint mail to get 3 euros discount back. The problem is the receptionist made the customer unpleasant only for this 3 euros. It would’ve been better if I haven't got this discount coupon. She didn't informed me it ONLY can be used through the room service staff. that receptionist didn't seem to have any tolerance or service mind of understanding miscommunications. So I want to know if it's the policy of the hotel mercure that showing the discount coupon ONLY to room-service staff and not working on the reception. Plus If it is, I want to be informed about the reason why it works like that. I paid more than 200€ per night. and This ain't small money. Please send me the reply as soon as possible. Thanks.

No room available for my whole stay!, wifi kept cutting off, was told no receipt available for my stay and the man on reception would email me a copy. I am still waiting!. Then to be also charged €25 for the car park. Almost €300 for 1 night stay at airport location!!. I feel the company is taking advantage of people and the current circumstances surrounding the Corona virus! I absolutely disgusted with my stay. I never will stay again and will also be telling my friends, family and colleagues of the experience

Love the location of the hotel near Tegel airport. The rooms are nice and big and the restaurant is excellent. The only negative point is I found the room to warm and had to open the window.

We enjoyed the hotel even though we were only there for one night. The breakfast was awesome too! It seemed a little strange when we pulled up in the dark because there is a barrier to the parking lot, but it's very convenient to the airport.

Personal was kind, food delicious and room clean. But I tried to reach the hotel walking with google directions and it takes you to the back street. Also we didn’t knew about the shuttle service until a taxi driver told us. Which was uncomfortable.

I’ve stayed here on eight occasions when using Tegel Airport and have always enjoyed my stay. The staff on reception are always polite and helpful and always a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are suitable in size and provide everything needed for a short stay before or after a flight or for general visits to Berlin. The food in the restaurant is always good but the staff are cold and miserable compared to any of the many hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast is overpriced but of a very good standard with lots to choose from.

Good hotel if you are laying over for a day or need to catch an early flight. Shuttle service to & from airport is excellent and runs every 10 minutes or on request. Decent restaurant for an evening meal and great breakfast. Rooms are standard Mercure style rooms and perfectly adequate. Coffee & tea making facilities in the room, which are great if you have to stay and work a bit.

Close the Tegel airport, free shuttle available, restaurant and breakfast. The hotel needs a building renouvation. Parking in front of the hotel and the airport is reachable in 10 minutes by walking. Nice hall .

I'm used to be 4, 5 times a year at your hotel. I was used to be very satisfied thanks to the reception, room and restaurant. During my last stay, I was disappointed from the restaurant. The menu taken that was the same that the previous time was less "well prepared". Despite the fact that the welcome at the reception is very good, I have to remember them each time that I have a member card that you proposed me more than 2 years ago. It seems that your system does not keep this info which is a pitty for a hotel like the Mercure.

I have stayed in your hotel many times during the last 30 years. Tegel is my favorite airport in Germany. I used to do business in Berlin, so Tegel Airport was my preference. The proximity of your hotel to the airport and the reliable shuttle service you offer is very convenient for anybody flying in or out of Tegel. As always, your rooms are clean and quiet. Your service personnel are polite and helpful. I will miss you when the new international airport will be opened.
