All perfect, except that I couldn’t reserve 2 connecting rooms. Appreciated greatly the option for early checkin and late checkout, onsite parking. Very polite and helpful staff, exceptional manager. Will visit again.

However, we apologize for certain aspects of your stay falling short of your expectations. We understand the inconvenience caused by not being able to secure 2 connecting rooms. Poor Room Quality, Smelly and Unclean

Nothing was right. Paid both of £250 every night, yet the moment I entered the room, there was pungent smell of alcohol and cigarettes. The window would not close as it had been opened by force (I think) and the highway was right next door so did not get any sleep. I asked for a dental kit and they did not even give that. Breakfast was good. Location was good. Other than that, no positives.

A smooth check in and surprise afternoon tea for my friends

I booked 3 nights for 2 of my friends in a Twin room and emailed the hotel beforehand explaining it was'nt booked for me. This wasn't a problem at all and they just needed the names of who it was for. I'd also noticed the hotel offered an Afternoon Tea experience. I booked this and again contacted the hotel to see if instead of selecting a time slot, they could make this a surprise for my friends when they checked in. I recieved a lovely text from my friends saying the room was GORGEOUS and check-in was very smooth. Apparently staff had also written a little surprise note for them to find in the room telling them about their surprise Afternoon Tea. This was such a lovely touch and even though you were meant to book in advance for the Afternoon Tea they managed to accommodate for them on the same day. Communication was so smooth between me and the hotel and everything was so well organised. The pictures of the Afternoon Tea looked amazing too so l'm so grateful they made my friends' stay so special!

Front desk service was good but other things were very disappointing. The hotel badly needs a refresh. The carpet was dirty, room service dishes at multiple rooms left in hallways for hours. For the cost, was just not as it should be.

We regret to hear about the issue with the sink in your bathroom and the oversight in clearing room service dishes in a timely manner.
