The welcome was , as always, good. The room adequate but the evening meal-the saumon koulibak was OK as was the cheese entre though that was possibly not as good as the saumon. The faux filet & frites-- steak very chewy- I gave mine to my dog. The desserts: Pavlova was a mockery-small meringues , lots of piped cream & not much more. My foret noir was awful- I ate the cream and 1 cherry but the cake was too dry and tasteless- certainly not worth the money and on our return on 25/01 we will not eat dinner. The waitress was pleasant. Breakfast: croissants seemed stale and it felt as if you were cutting costs and wanted guests to realise that
