The room in general is nice and appropriate but in mine the AirCon was not working properly which led to a high temperature. The service team is doing a great job to make it a pleasant stay.

The main lift was being serviced upon our arrival and the secondary lift was like an old factory service elevator. The room was small and a bit tired, I would have selected the larger room if it was clearer on the website.

A tired hotel with horrible parking

pleasant staff. Elevator was broken for the entire stay. Parking stalls are too small, there are too few of them, and instructions on how to access them in three different locations are suboptimal. When offered a remote parking area, the front desk person gave poor, half hearted directions. Parking 3 blocks from the hotel is a poor experience. The room had been renovated, but poorly. Look at the tub surround. The bed was too firm, the least comfortable bed i've had in a hotel in ages. The powdered eggs for breakfast are an embarrassment for a French hotel. All and all a poor experience, I won't be back, and may need to rethink my patronage of the Mercure brand.

A great place to stay in Grenoble

This is my usua place to stay when at Grenoble- - very well located - rooms are well preserved, clean, functional - breakfast is superb, have altenative milk (it would be great to include others than soy… oat, almond) Rating as 8 because… This time the main elevator was not working. Would be great to have a gym, or pass to a gym nearby for those that like using the gym
