ibis Paris Porte d'Orléans Hotel 3 stars

We stayed at the IBIS for its convenient location. We were visiting a special nearby restaurant and the hotel was only 5 minutes walking distance away. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Breakfast was good. Parking, easy, though a bit expensive.

Service was quite poor and most staff seemed unwilling to help with any enquires, with the exception of one lady who was lovely and helped print something. We arrived a little early and rudely pointed away. When asked about luggage storage until check in, without any help was told to go pay and put in a locker... not something you expect from an Accor hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel now for over 12 years, it is only a 7 minute walk to the tram and the metro and if you don't mind walking a little further 40 minutes to Montparnasse. Line 4 from porte d'Orleans can have you at gare d nord within 30 minutes. The hotel itself is clean, the staff are Friendly.... especially the bar staff these guys are the perfect host.

Was charged twice for my room, as the first booking was confirmed with wrong date, and ibis would not correct it without full charge.

The stay was pleasant. Value for money and there is a nearby supermarket

Rooms far to small, even for Paris. Bathroom to small but I managed. Breakfasts was okay. Reception and general service was good. Attached restaurant needs improvement in food quality.

Very friendly staff, very comfortable, good location, restaurants in the hotel and close by.

Low quality room not refurbished

It did not give an impression of a hotel, more like Air BnB. The hotel reception area is like a bar area. There are no basic necessities for a hotel facility, like basic toiletries, and blanket!

Room renovated but not up to the level as in the UK. Why no kettle, cup and selection of tea and coffee as in the uk?

- I left my eletric toothbrush in room 337 when check out, but when i came back at reception, they told me nobody have found the toothbrash, but i am sure i left it in the wc; - there are people pounded the door of room 338 at 2 am in the morning, when we told the reception, they just told us it was not them with cold blodd. We are so scared but no one give us explanation after all this.

There was no way to let the bathroom door open,so humidity remained inside and it was smelling badly.

Not a bad experience. But comparing price with location and luxury, the place is a bit overpriced. I needed to be close to rer B and a friend's house. I had to stay at Ibis, but I had much cheaper options on the very same street.

Hotel was ok,a reasonable price,a short walk from both the Metro and RER lines albeit the walk to Chantilly station takes you through a run down district.The bar area is modern and the reception at the hotel was fine.Our room ,although clean was tired,the shelves were missing edge trims and walls were shabby.Montrouge itself has a number of café bars,which were considerably cheaper than eating or drinking in the hotel
