old fashion, poor room, too expensive

the best was the friendly staff, all others were really poor and not recommended: all carpets at the floor (rooms, corridors, ..) were dirty and worn out. doors to the rooms are not complete closed, a gap between door and frame of 1 cm was open, windows are polluted, the entrance looks like a back door entry, the rooms are very small, they have no bedside table, only one electrical power socket (not possible to charge cellphone and notebook same time), breakfast is typical low level IBIS breakfast prices are much too expensive for the low performance

The hotel is well located for car travellers. Bus connection to the town centre is right in front. The overall condition of the hotel could need some freshen up. Breakfast was good, staff friendly. Strange mail after check out. The invoice was unreadable. Both directly in te mail, as the attachment.

The staff from the front desk to the cuisine is very welcoming and helpful. Whenever I am staying at this Ibis, I am there because my husband is having tests or treatment at the neighboring hospital. The kind and attentive staff is especially appreciated under the stressful circumstances.

This hotel enjoys excellent transport links. The "periphique" is adjacent to the hotel and an excellent, frequent and cheap, bus service goes to Lyon centre from outside reception. That is the end of the good news. Rooms are spartan and breakfast poor value - unusually limited choice for price paid.

Very small rooms, rude people from the staff and way to expensive for the provided service. Staff was siting in the restaurant all day eating and nobody at the front desk, the chef of the restaurant was chilling out with his dog in the lobby being rude to guests. You can almost not believe it! rooms were like 28 degrees, which made it difficult to sleep.

everything was good however I would have expected eggs to be served with the breakfast buffet (10 euros per person) . The service at the reception was ok , the room was roomy , impeccable and clean . It is quiet environment . access is a bit tricky , no restaurants in the vicinity but there is a restaurant at the lobby and the food prices seem correct.

This hotel needs to upgrade their air conditioning! And the quality of their meals. The weather was in the high 30s when I stayed and the air conditioning could not cope. The thermostat was not working. In addition, the quality of the menu on offer for dinner was very poor.

The hotel team is helpful and kind. The hotel looks very nice. The room is quiet. The bathroom is clean. The car parking is included and attached to the hotel. The breakfast is very good. I was also given free beverage upon my arrival.

I stayed at this Ibis twice in close succession due to not very pleasant circumstances. My brother who lives in France had fallen ill and had had to have open heart surgery in Lyons. Firstly the hotel was ideally situated for the hospital - literally 2 minutes walk. The staff were happy, smiley and friendly. Their English was extremely good and they could not have been more helpful.Even the cleaners were pleasant and polite. My stay was over Bastille day, which is a public holiday, so the normal evening restaurant was closed but they said I could eat in the bar area. I explained that I was vegetarian and I went through the menu with a member of staff earlier in the day and worked out what I could eat later. I returned at 2150 after visiting my brother and feeling quite low. The were due to close in ten minutes but the waitress couldn't have been more helpful and knew that a vegetarian was going to be eating that evening. She then produced a fantastic salad and pizza which I was so grateful for as I hadn't eaten since breakfast. This was absolute heaven to me after a very difficult day. The buffet breakfasts are a real feast and you won't go away hungry - even a vegetarian. The barman got to know what I drank and produced the beer without me asking (not sure how good that is at 11.00 in the morning). They arranged a taxi for me back to the airport. I know all these things are what you should expect from a well run hotel but I feel they just went that extra mile to make sure your stay was as stress free as possible. Thank you so much to all the staff that were there during my two stays. My only grip was there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but you could always get a coffee at the bar and take it to your room.

Very bad timing

We arrived on Sept 10 and this was a very bad timing because the A/C was not working and they were doing some work during the day; impossible to sleep in the afternoon with the jack hammering and too hot at night. Opening the windows for fresher air but it was very noisy with the hospital next door and helicopters landing on the top. Still using keys for the doors and it was very noisy the whole stay. I like IBIS but would never return there even if the location was good for us. I wish they would have given a discount or free breakfast for the discomfort during the repair of the A/C.

A clean, friendly and very nice hotel. Breakfast is complete, hotel is silent and the staff is very efficient. if you are looking for a great restaurant around, they will give you the best addresses ( not the ones for tourists, but the ones for food lovers) Will definitely come again.
