I am sure a lot of reviews come from less-than-ideal stays, and this is no different. This was probably the worst stay at an Accor I have had. Given the price and location, I would have been better off staying somewhere else in town and will likely look at price next time rather than just stay at Accor as default. I'd like to think that I am not overly precious, but the room I was given was likely the worst in the hotel - and I have stayed there several time previously. Given the town was dead, I wouldn't think that the hotel was full. I know that the money myself and the company pour into Accor hotels converts to status, but what is status if you are offered this type of room.

The staff were the best part of the stay … the hardware of the hotel ( furnishings , bathrooms over-tired )

The staff were truly fantastic and very accomodating , however the overall physical aspects of the hotel are truly in need of some attention. I have been staying at this hotel for for 25 years and it is really time that the owners spend some money on this hotel. The bathrooms are terrible , the pillows smell of sweat and the curtains are also smelly. I feel sorry for the staff in trying to front the customer and compensate for a poor hotel.

Very quiet stay, but everything was ready, the rooms were both huge and clean, the pool was well maintained, it was clear what to do at check in and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Great property (and team!)

I appreciated the intervention by the Temporary Manager however prior to that the receptionist had had the worst attitude, completely lacked knowledge of being an Accor limitless member and was outright rude. The Manager asked me to wait in the restaurant while the booking was sorted out. The receptionist who had previously been on the counter preceded to come into the restaurant and rudely stated that she was reorganising the room bookings. I acknowledge that I should have requested a room with a separate bed in it but I have been booking with Mt Isa IBIS for a long time and usually the girls on reception book it automatically. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that the older lady in the red dress find other employment.
