Our stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by friendly faces and received beautiful leis, which set the tone for a fantastic experience. The property itself is stunning, with incredible views all around. The water right outside our bungalow was crystal clear, filled with colorful fish and marine life—truly breathtaking. The food at the hotel's restaurants was delicious, especially the breakfast. We also loved our private dinner on the balcony, which made the evening even more special. The gym was impressive, and the spa services were impeccable, leaving us relaxed and refreshed. To top it all off, we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, which added to the celebratory feel of our trip. The hotel’s location was perfect, and every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay!

The Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort’s beach front huts were lovely and clean. We enjoyed the spa, restaurants, and pool. Loved walking out onto the beach and into the best snorkeling on the island. The staff was helpful and kind. We left our bag of souvenirs behind by accident and the staff went above and beyond to get them back to us. We booked with John at Venture Tahiti and he gave us excellent guidance, recommendations, and even helped me with restaurant and spa reservations.

We found Sofitel through Venture Tahiti (Keiley) who gave excellent feedback and recommendations for our stay in Tahiti. The Sofitel is an excellent place to stay, that doesn’t break the bank too much! The staff were very friendly and welcoming — they even booked our outside dinner reservations for us. The cocktails and food at their main bar were absolutely delicious. The complimentary champagne also added a nice touch as we were celebrating our anniversary. The American breakfast could have been a little better and a little more options for television would have been nice during down time in the room, but other than that I would definitely recommend Sofitel if you are staying in Moorea.

So relaxing. Paradise.

We didn't leave the resort for three days. We didn't do much either just relax, eat and drink and swim. Probably the only thing that would have made life easier would have been access to snacks. The souvenir shop had a very limited range. Staff were amazing and anticipated your needs. If you were just standing admiring the garden, a passing staff member would greet you and check if there was anything they could do. You are surrounded by natural beauty and attentive staff. Great combo.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, we had a pleasant experience. We had an over the water bungalow. Plenty of room. I am sure in its heyday, this hotel was top notch. Yes, the rooms are a bit worn and could use an update or fix minor things in the rooms (Mine needed a blind wand). But we enjoyed our room. Overall, the bungalows could have been a little less in price. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Both omelet chefs was very attentive especially the one that was very animated when cooking. The staff was very helpful and nice but some of the guests to be rude. Yes, I said it. The staff nice, some guests rude. Saying please and thank you goes a long way. Snorkeling was great. Had dinner in the restaurant the first night. Service was great but did not care for the food. I had the parrot fish and truffle mac and cheese. My boyfriend had seafood something. We had a car so after that we ate outside the hotel. There is a water refill station. The minibar was stocked with 1 each Coke Cola, Sprite and pineapple juice. 2 beers and 2 sparkling water. Espresso/coffee machine and teas. It is restocked everyday. Although he does not belong to the hotel, there was a black and white dog that was joy to pet. Very friendly. Watch him as he watches what's in the lagoon. He barked when he spotted a stingray!!!! I brought a pendant from Pearl Romance. Salesperson Marie was great! Highly recommend.
