We stayed in a luxury over the water bungalow. Much to our surprise, the unit was very dated. I almos fell through the deck due to a rotting board. They block the air conditioning to 25 degrees Celsius. The food at PURE is not to par for this type of property. The Mahi Mahi was under cooked and like slimey rubber. The burgers were also under cooked. My wife had a diamond necklace and earrings stolen out of her bag the first room service we had. Luckily it was fake diamonds, but doubt the thief knew that. The location is great and surrounding scenery is gorgeous. The property is just not what you expect for the price.

Upon arrival no Bellman. We had a lot of luggage about four suitcases. However, there was no Bellman to help us unload the suitcases from the Taxi. We had to wait 30 minutes just to get a ride to our bungalow Secondly, for this quality of a hotel you should have a shuttle from the ferry. There is no shuttle from the ferry for the guests. We ordered a coconut from both bars, and neither of the barman could open the Coconut. They were able to open it to the point you could drink from it, but not open it so you can enjoy the meat inside the coconut. This is incredible. The staff has at least 100 employees and no none of the Tahitians know how to open a coconut. When you’re on the beach, there is no waiter that will offer you cocktails There is a spa jacuzzi but it’s off limit to guests accept if you get a Massage treatment. The hot tub spa should be an amenity for the guests. Beach is rocky to enter, there is both coral and rocks at the shoreline so it’s difficult to enter the water without rubber booties ( shoes). Small pool for a resort of this size. It’s about the size of my home pool No activities other than snorkel and kayaking for the guests.

Very enjoyable. Room has fair bit of traffic noise and water access challenging. Rooms at other end of resort have easier beach access etc. Roof fan runs flat out, no effective / usable low setting for night/ sleeping use. Snorkeling etc in lagoon is very good.
