After spending a couple of nights at the Pullman in London (St Pancras) I was deeply disappointed by the Marseille version. A rather outdated, old hotel saved by the friendliness and courtesy of its staff. Fitness equipment was very old and in several instances non-operational or flat-out dangerous (treadmill was stalling)

Double billing at your restaurant

I sent you a note mentioning that I have been billed some 58 Euros on my final invoice, where I paid in full our dinner at the restaurant counter. To this day I have not received a reply and refund from you, it has been almost a week to acknowledge cymessage

Room stank of cigarette smoke

The room was literaly caked in stale cigarette smoke. There was no ways the hotel staff could not have noticed this while preparing the room. The hotel acknowledged that the room stank, but prepared it for us anyways. It wasn't even as if the hotel was full, so it seems to be something that happens often enough for the hotel not to care.

My favourite place to stay before I fly out in the morning.

I work all around the south of France. I always make sure to spend the last night here. It is a 4 minute free shuttle to the airport. The staff are A+, considerate and helpful. The turkey club sandwich is the best hotel meal available in a 50km radius. The rooms are just a bit tired and in need of modern amenities like USB jacks and extra outlets... but this is a small issue. Breakfast could be a little bit more “hearty” but the staff are fantastic.

I am regularly in this hotel. However I experience a degrading technical situation. Small issues in the rooms (taps etc.) or e.g. in the fitness center are not repaired for months. Seems there is a lack of budget (or attention). Not good.

Nice place to spend the night before a very early morning flight. The food is good and the room clean, attractive and comfortable. The hotel has a swimming pool, a tennis court and a nice park for jogging.

After arriving on a cold, somewhat inhospitable flight on Air Canada from the USA, my one-night stay at the Pullman Marseille was just delightful. It started with the quick pick-up by the hotel's bus service and the kind driver, Jacques, who was able to speak English when my French failed me. In just 24 hours, I was able to use this service three times (and also received advice from the drivers) to get me to downtown Marseille and back, to swim in the hotel pool, and to dine in the restaurant the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was of excellent quality and offered many choices - with fruit, cheese buffet, hot items, and bread and pastries. ALL of the staff were friendly and attentive in a kind way. I was able to thank the assistant and general manager for the exceptional service and they showed me the table in the reception with photos of the employees which permitted guests to leave personalized comments for them if they liked. This hotel's teamwork and "esprit" is exceptional. Bravo! JSJ

The bedroom was old and tired and smelled stale - dog? cat? cigarette? not sure but was awful. Service in the restaurant was no more than adequate and was overpriced - 15 euros for a small salad of tomato and mozzarella that was fridge cold with cheap tasteless mozzarella and tomatoes

Walking distance from the hotel. Good service. Good breakfast. Clean room and quiet. Walking distance from the terminal but you can call the shuttle for a pickup. Shuttle is available to return you to the terminal. Lots of parking spaces. Stayed there multiple times and I will return when needed.

For an airport hotel I was incredibly surprised at how professional and well run this property is. Great check-in, fantastic food, comfortable room, clean bathroom (surprisingly hard in today's world to achieve) and very friendly bi-lingual staff.

Nice location and hotel confortable but corridors, bedroom and bathroom need to refurbished, especailly the bathroom as most of the component are old or leacking. Personnal is obliging and always looking to provide support

I had an early morning flight and decided to check-in and stay the night before. The hotel iis in a park like setting and the main floor is stylish. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant, which is well above my expectations for a hotel restaurant. The welcome by staff in the hotel was welcome, the room comfortable and well appointed, and the shuttle at 5:30 a.m.much appreciated!

Terrible food and restaurant service - rude server and frozen food. Rooms spacious and basically clean but in terrible need for renovations (stains on walls! Yuck!) totally overpriced due to airport location and we’ll never go back even if we have to stay at the airport we’ll go to Ibis!

The Pullman has a great atmosphere, a good bar and restaurant .... no negatives hereFrom the shuttle drivers to the wait staff in the restaurant all staff were pleasant and engagingThe room was clean, has a large TV and my favorite... good cold air conditioning.All of that is great but at some point you are going to want to sleep, i mean that's really why your there, right? The bed was horrible, first it was not made properly. there was a pad under the top sheet that was just kind of thrown on causing lots of folds, due to the thickness of the pad the folds were like laying on random pieces of rubber hose. I remade the made, no big deal my mom taught me to do it. I crawled into the bed ready for a good night sleep an the real flaw was revealed, the mattress had such a bad sag that even with a pillow under my bum.. I still was not flat. Managed a few hours of restless sleep and woke up with a very stiff back. Hopefully this is something they will correct as it is my only complaint.... it's just a big one

Despite our prior online check-in, the welcome process has been slightly long this time (probably due to the learning phase of the intern in charge :)). For lunch, we have experienced as well an extraordinary slow service (45' to get our first order!) owing to personel shortage and busy Friday. As we did not have any other commitment, that was not that an issue except for our impatient child... But the head of the service did apologize (which is not that frequent in France) and even propose to offer for free the child lunch (which even more rare in France!). Otherwise, we've been delighted by the hotel, the comfort, the facilities, the quality of the cocktail :)...

Room air-conditioning was not working though hotel suggested to change another room. I was staying one night so i didn't bother to. I did not have the experience of a hotel restaurant service. Was expecting more quality service in France than that.

The hotel is well located 10 minutes on foot from the airport, free shuttle is available any time (unfortunately it's a bit difficult to get to any inhabitable place). Rooms need a bit of renovation - best times seem to be over. Excellent staff!

Excellent weekend stay

I stayed Friday and Saturday night in the standard room. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a safe, ironing board and iron, nice big TV, a desk to work on, bathrobes, slippers etc. It was during a heatwave and the temperature of the room was already cool when I arrived which was much appreciated after a long drive. All the facilities are great. I took full advantage of the gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool, and after being in meetings all day, and it was very refreshing. The staff were very professional and helpful at reception and in the restaurant/bar. The dishes are pretty small at the restaurant, but the breakfast is exceptionally good. There's even a gluten free choice in the mornings which is a nice touch. Overall a really nice weekend! Thank you!

good hotel with a few small issues

Nice to have a water cooker for making coffee and tea, but why do you have to crawl on the floor to find a power socket, and why is the cord so small that can't put the cooker on the table? The number of power sockets is anyway too limited and they are only under the tables, which is annoying for use to charge your batteries etc.
