Really positive experience. Food options were good, ordered from room service a number of times and always arrived promptly. Reception advice and guidance was fantastic. Utilised the gym regularly (small but had enough of the usual suspects) Pool was great temperature.

Very disappointing compared to our stay last July!! Check in was a mess we ended up getting put in wrong rooms so had to clear room bill then switch card we had register to one room to another then to find out at check out it wasn’t right The room and balcony we had was awful think we got put in the “broncs” old bathroom broken and smashed tiles on balcony very old worn furniture and didn’t even have enough chairs for all the guests Worst though was more or less all staff esp pool and bar staff were really miserable and rude and clearly didn’t want to be there Housekeeping was minimum never topped up our waters or milk or swept floors and fridge didn’t work

We had a last minute getaway and chose Cairns Novotel for our stay. The pool and Facilities were amazing. Really recommend. The rooms could do with some upgrades to make them more comfortable/homely. Really enjoyed the stay :)

New Years Eve Stay

We were a group of locals who stayed for New Years Eve so that our children could swim & we loved being able to see the fireworks from the balcony of our room! The room was great & we even had a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room which was unexpected & very much appreciated. The reception staff, the restaurant staff & the pool bar staff were wonderful - unfortunately the staff working at the bar the night of NYE were quite rude & it felt like we were an inconvenience to them when we went to order. It didn't ruin our stay, we still had a great time! As locals we love coming to the hotel for a stay-cay!
