Rooms were clean and spacious, and the pool and food were amazing. I booked a package that included tickets to the aquarium, but I never received them. When I asked about it at reception during check-out, the receptionist didn’t seem to know anything about it. She laughed and said they never give aquarium tickets and asked me to show her where it said that in my booking. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and had to leave. If the hotel offers packages like this, the whole team should be informed so guests can receive the service that was promised.

I recently stayed at Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the Esplanade, plenty of restaurants, and the marina, which made it really convenient for exploring Cairns. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was great, the air conditioning worked perfectly (which is essential in Cairns), and the room had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The resort itself has a lovely tropical feel, and the lagoon-style pool area is a real highlight. It’s a great space to relax after a day out, surrounded by palm trees and a laid-back atmosphere. What truly made the stay stand out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which made the experience feel genuinely warm and personal. A special shoutout to Elissa, who went above and beyond during our stay. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. It’s not often you come across service that leaves such a positive impression, but Elissa absolutely did. Her professionalism and warmth really elevated the whole experience. Overall, a very comfortable stay with excellent service. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns. Thanks to the team for a great experience, and especially to Elissa for going the extra mile.

Traveled for work. Comfy room. Aircon working hard in the Cairns heat and humidity. No upgrade, welcome amenities as platinum member, but it appears my membership wasnt included during booking, and check in lady gave me drink vouchers. Overall good stay.
