Underwhelmed and annoyed best describes how we feel after our stay at this resort. The internet was abysmal. The connection onto the internet required more steps than just knowing the network name and password. It required going to the front desk to learn that it was necessary to go into settings & turn off certain security features. When I made a comment about someone looking at the stuff on my device, the front desk person laughed and said, ‘you never know, it might be me down here in the middle of the night….’ Once I got the very unsecure internet going, it cut out constantly. This is supposedly a hotel that caters to business travelers. How can you have such crappy internet? Regardless, it’s 2025, how can you have such crappy internet? At check in, we were given 2 inch X 2 inch paper tickets as tokens for pool towels. If we didn’t exchange them for towels, they had to be returned at check out or you were charged $25/token. Not only is that cheap, it’s tacky. We do not recommend.

hello. I would just like to say that our last stay was very disappointing. The reception staff were excellent as always. The rooms were up to standard and overall, it was a pretty good stay even though the weather was terrible. We often come up Innisfail to stay or just have lunch and normally the food is quite good. This time we booked a night to be with my mother and Father as my father is not well and my husband and I try to take him out occasionally for a change. As i said before the rooms were fine and the reception staff great, but we were very disappointed with the meals. First, I order two meals, All OKAY. When my mother ordered two meals, I was with here so i know she ordered the meals they wanted. When the meals arrived, they were wrong and the person that delivered them said that was what was ordered. After explaining to him that someone had entered the wrong meals when ordering, he finally said okay, and he would have them changed. When the meals finally returned, they were cooked to a very low standard. My mother and father both could not finish their meals and were very disappointed. Im not sure who was cooking that night, but i feel it is very hard to make a Brisket that tough and burnt that it could hardly be chewed. I am sorry for the complaint, as it is something that i never do, but on this occasion, it was very upsetting. Hopefully our future visits will be more enjoyable.
