This Ibis is clearly a step down compared to other Ibis hotels. First it's old, you charged 6€ for parking without informing your customers ahead. Considering the location it could be free. Talking about the room, the water we thought was free came at a 3€50 cost. Would have been a nice gesture to get a free bottle of water. Then there was the issue of the blanket. I've never seen a mattress bigger than the blanket, but here it was. There is no way to adults can fit under. Luckily we could use the spare one from the single bed. Finally why spending some time writing something in the booking if you don't take it into consideration. I called the hotel and they instructed me to specify we needed a baby bed. The hotel was pretty empty so one room with such bed was still available.

not a bad place, but little things make you feel taken advantage of

location is ok if you have a vehicle. nested between highways it’s good for a quick overnight stay. you need to drive to any places offering food. despite a very large ungated parking lot, they will sneak in a hidden charge if you park in the lot. Despite having to pay for parking, they keep most of the lights in the parking area turned off giving off a creepy atmosphere not normal for ibis. There are also two types of rooms. one with a bathtub and one with a shower. room selection does not let you choose between the two. those with hip issues or those of a certain age will not be able to get into the high bathtubs safely. No power outlets near the bed for charging cell phones or alarm clocks. Lights in the bathrooms take a long time to turn on… you have time to wonder if they are working at all…. Staff range from the super nice to the super unprofessional. Previous stay, the desk was staffed by three girls who seemed more like they wanted to play around then help customers.

I can assure you that this is a dedicated and motivated employee with a lot of heart, but it is difficult to convey these qualities in dialogue. We will respond here with a conversation and training. Hotel was clean & personal was polite and professional. Late check-in presented no problems. Point deductions for some untransparent costs; very expensive breakfast and surgage for city tax.
