I hadn't stayed for about 15 years at Sofitel Broadbeach and although the rooms are still similar, the standout of this hotel is the 5 star service. From check in to check out, every member of staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and important. The rooms are a bit older, but definitely comfortable, although be aware that the rooms facing the park and highway can be a little noisy, especially with the birds in the trees in the park. The breakfast buffet is great value, especially if you are an Accor member and the pool deck is excellent and perfectly positioned to enjoy the sun all day. The location is perfect and within walking distance of everything. I highly recommend staying here and I definitely will again.

Last night's dinner was fantastic! We had such a great time at the restaurant. The fresh oysters were an excellent start to the meal, and the steak and duck breast were cooked to perfection. The flavors were just amazing! And those drinks, they were delicious and really complemented the meal. I also can't forget to mention how attentive Kelly, our server, was. Her service really made the whole experience even better. It's so rare to find such great service these days, and she really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I'm definitely looking forward to going back there soon. I hope we can have another great evening like that.

I have loved my Sofitel experience in other countries but perhaps not as much for the Sofitel at Broadbeach. The service is okay but its the quality of the hotel, its outdated, the furniture in the rooms are outdated, the carpets were extremely dusty triggering my nose through the stay, the gym was shameful. Its about time Sofitel spends some money refreshing their Broadbeach hotel. One thing is certain - I will not be staying there for future conferences till someone tells me that its been updated. And I will not be advocating for my company staff and peers to stay there either.
