I work in hospitality so I'm not the kindest. The hotel met most of my expectations. The room was large enough with a decoration consistent with the place. Without asking we were given a mountain view room with a bathtub so that was very appreciated. Prices are also fair. I can't complain much about the breakfast which had fresh croissants available. The crepes were however not edible and the cereals selection measly. I felt however it was very fairly priced. Quite impressed overall.

Dated, tatty and in need of an urgent makeover. The reception staff for very helpful and friendly but let down by the accommodation. Swimming pool closed until 13.00 on a Thursday. Breakfast awful, staff disinterested and varying random people wondering in and out of the kitchen. Poor quality and certainly not up to the normal Mercure standard. Booked for 2 nights, left after one.

Well end of season, and in morning, very absent staff at check out, as my keys no longer worked and si waited 10 minutes, before young lady appeared with cafe and her croissant…

Designed for groups only; rooms are not welcoming, expensive for the quality and service is poor. The room service does not come to your room and do not accomodate for anything. I guess it works if you stay in the main hall with friends.

We had a great time the room was very comfortable I loved our big bed and we had all we needed in the room The restaurant and games area was great to and was good to have the pool and ski room everything was great I think the breakfast could have been a bit better though

- small rooms which are not well isolated - breakfast is not a 4 start one - no proper coffee machine, no fresh juice, fresh fruits etc. - pool with all the kids and sauna next to it too loud

We stayed in this hotel around 5 years ago. It was very nice hotel. Now it’s became terrible. They put an Italian receptionist to be RUDE and ARROGANT for hotel guests as Italian mafia. He was not suitable to be receptionist. On the other hand; they don’t provide anything to feel PLATINUM MEMBER of ACCOR group. The only good thing was Chef Max in dinner restaurant. Thanks to him.

Stayed here for 1 night with my partner. Nicely decorated room with a snowy garden and mountain view and a large comfortable bed. Appreciated the pool and sauna, but was disappointed that the jacuzzi was out of order. Only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Chamonix.

Very good atmosphere, nice swimming pool, but rooms could be at a higher level (low light and average level of cleanliness).

The hotel is nice, with a great entrance and common spaces. The swimming pool is great. However, the restaurant is average and a bit expensive for the content. Also, the room has some good points (comfortable, nice bathroom, nice view on the mountains) but is a bit dark and some furniture are old and not always clean;

We had 2 rooms and both had a weird smell inside. The cleaning service did not come to our room for 2 days. The breakfast was very unsatisfying for a 4 star hotel. The sofas in the lobby looked dirty and not arranged.

The hotel was very good, but the restaurant, bar and room service is very poor. There was one night that they simple closed the bar and room services without inform the guests, the restaurant got fully booked, and we were obligated to go to the city to find something to diner as there was no delivery in the region. Nobody helped us when we asked what we have to diner, the answer we received was always "not my problem, there's nothing I can do", I really expected more for a Mercure hotel.

Not so good romantic summer trip

I was very excited looking to have a romantic and relaxing trip with my husband after such a long period of work. When we arrived and checked in at the hotel, not much information about the hotel nor the area were given, no wifi and no papers with other info provided neither. We were tired and went to find a very old dusty room and very smelly carpets and aged restroom where the toilet was separated from the shower and the tube was useless (unless you have the courage to use). The sauna was nice, the pool was a lit dirty but would pass, the jacuzzi fits 2 people but many wants to use so we had to "organize" a waiting line (no peace at all to rest). Very disappointing and frustrating to pay 400 pounds (without breakfast) to have poor service and poor information provided. Luckily the area is nice and the Aiguille de Midi saved the trip. Looking forward to next trip very far away from there.

I spent 6 days vacation with family in Mercure hotel les bossons. Nice hotel and location, but a little bit disappointed with the consideration for very loyal customers (Diamond status). Maybe it's a bad habits, but I didn't feel like a "guest" but just as "customer", and that is not the reason why I'm always choose accor hotels.

A convenient but disappointing place to stay

Booked the hotel due to location, open air own parking area, and existence of restaurant. Reception was excellent both arrival and departure. Restaurant was catastrophically bad and expensive for being bad. Both food and service. Breakfast was decent. Rooms have an awful decoration, prevailing color is more like vomit. Bed was good.

Due to storm Dennis , my flight from London to Geneva on Saturday 15th February was cancelled ( as all the other flights that Saturday) so I arrived at the hotel the next day, Sunday 16th February, I have explained the above to the manager but they did not refund me the payment ,for the night I was unable to travel in spite of explaining to him the situation. No flexibility or understanding of the situation.
