Stayed in this hotel with a group of tourists. Check in - messy because the staff did not know how to print the room list. Wasted a lot of time sorting the rooms. Eventually, I had read directly from the computer. Hotel rooms - Basic and simple. Water cannot control properly Although website states recently renovated - but I feel they need to renovate again. Rooms numbering is very confusing as most rooms are spread across ground floor and first floor. Unlikely other hotels - the room’s first digit indicates the floor. This hotel - the first digit does not mean - the floor. Very confusing. No lifts and no help from the staff for luggages. I had some old folks staying in the 2nd floor- the duty manager refused to help and insisted on €4 per luggage although another male staff was willing to to help for free - but the manager refused. Does not justify the 4 star rating. Not recommended unless u have no other options.

I only stayed overnight travelling through so can not comment on additional facilities the hotel has. The rooms are a little basic but comfortable enough, there was a mix of pillows - some very soft and some firm. Shower was decent, rituals body wash and shampoo was nice.. the only issue I had, the walls/ceilings are paper thin. Unfortunately the room above had a very squeaky mattress… earplugs definitely required. Breakfast was nice, a mix of cooked and pastry/cereal. Lounge/reception was nice with an open fire and pool table. All in all, an ok hotel

Beautiful Hotel with a nice and modern interior. The complimentary waterstation at the Lobby is a big plus. I love the pool and the food! Thanks for the whole team to make the stay so enjoyable! We have been coming to this hotel for nearly 30 years. Sometimes we use it as a stopover for travelling further south because it is so conveniently situated. On some of our other visits we have stayed for over a week to go climbing in the forest of Fontainebleau. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, although could perhaps benefit from an update. The restaurant has improved over the last few years and I like the ‘suggestions de jour’. However, the jewel in the crown for this hotel is without doubt the staff. The staff who have worked there for many years recognise us and greet us most warmly. We speak a little bit of French, but the receptionists on the desk can usually manage some English too, to help explain things. On our last visit (this month) we had a small problem in the restaurant on our first night. I explained what had happened to Julie on reception and she very promptly sorted this out for us, quickly and to our benefit. The following evening, an excellent waiter made sure we were well looked after. (I’m sorry I don’t know his name but he was working on September 16th) All of the bar staff and restaurant staff were most pleasant and many thanks to Julie. We look forward to our next visit.

Really disappointing. Definitely not a 4 star hotel - very shabby and photos bear no resemblance to reality. Rooms and hotel in serious need of repair never mind cosmetic work. Limited choices in the restaurant although good except of the profusion of flies. Stayed here 12 years previously and it was fine. It was busy but suspect that it is chosen for convenience and proximity to the motorway.
