It was good overall. It was a business trip but my family joined me. My wife and son spent a good amount time in the room and they enjoyed themselves.

I did not sleep well in the hotel.

I spent 3 nights in the hotel and did not sleep well any night. The bed had some sort of plastic sheet on top of the mattress and I woke up sweating every night.

There was nothing noteworthy about the stay. I want a cool, comfortable room. I did not get that. The room would not cool down and the bed/ bed lining was terribly uncomfortable.

Unfortunately we are at an intermediate period when the nights are cool and the days are good. It's a shame because we have alternative options with fans available at the reception. Air conditioning is really bad! Flies for breakfast!

Breakfast was lovely and a nice variety of different foods which also included fruit and yoghurts, nicely layed out rooms and lovely big showers in the bedroom, including a nice big television. Also more important was the comfortable beds with plenty of extra pillows etc. the bedrooms were quite warm and you would have needed to have a gentle bit of air conditioning coming into the room during the night in the summertime .

Fire alarm went off early morning. No one for the hotel staff was available to explain the situation and advise when it was safe to return to rooms.

I am sorry that the fire alarm woke you up but we had an incident in the kitchen which fortunately went through. At 5.45 in the morning there is only one person at the reception and she was trying to manage the incident as well ; please be sur that she was aware of taking care of everytbody. I stayed in Novotel Cergy-Pontoise quite often, since our business had office in Campus Saint-Christophe. In overall I stayed in more than 25 nights in total, but their service are not improving at all as the staff not really accommodating the needs of their guest and seems to be rude with me. Especially the old guy at the receptionist, not even smile at their guest, even requesting small matter like laundry bag or shaver seems verybdifficult job for him. Their laundry service are the worst, as is not 1 day service, and most of the time is more than 1.5 day to finish and some more their put the stappler in iur clothes, very unprofessional. I stayed in other chains hotel never put a label with stappler in my clothes, not even once. But this Novotel Cergy are different level, it can leave damage in our clothes or stappler mark. Overall really dissapointed with their service, and their rate is even more expensive than Marriott chain in Paris city center, only because I have project here then I have no choice!

Good stay, bed was comfy and shower room was nice. Overall the room I had was comfortable. However the eating area for breakfast was full of flies, it put me off eating the food that had been left out for breakfast.

This week I have been four nights in the hotel which have been very unpleasant because I slept with the air conditioning very strong and very cold in the room without being able to remove it despite having said it in reception every day, therefore I wanted on the one hand file a claim and on the other hand since I return on October 7 ask to be put in a room in the middle of the corridor and not in the last rooms of the hall. The air conditioner can not be turned off and as it was blowing air on me durning the whole evening, by the third morning i've got sick having thorethroat and aching ears.

This hotel was a diamond in the rough with mostly business people as guests. It's a great place to stay if you have to make a work trip to Cergy specifically. The service was great, the food in the restaurant was delicious (breakfast lunch and dinner!), and the amenities were spot on. With that being said, I wouldn't stop here if I were visiting Paris city center as a tourist.

We turned up the day after we booked!! Senior moment when booking. As we needed a room with mobility features (shower etc) we thought we would not be able to stay. The young lady could not have been more helpful. Told us not to worry, adjusted our booking and gave us a mobility room. Would definitely recommend, your company. The breakfast was very good, but 2 coach parties were at the hotel and appeared to be leaving at the same time. This put a lot of pressure on the staff and decimated the breakfast items. The staff again were pleasant, courteous and when the majority of the coach parties had left they quickly cleared tables and replenished items.
