Outside of the hotel looks tired and dated. Reception area is nice, however this is let down by the oblivious reception staff who felt at times to work intentionally slowly - clearly seeing frustrated people waiting they would move slowly, talk and joke with one another showing no consideration to the people waiting. This was every day during my stay. Also, no apology or help afford when ordering a taxi which then picked up the incorrect guest - the staff did not care nor offer to help ensure I got into the next taxi - I ended up 40 minutes late for work. Lateness I dont blame on the staff, nor the taxi picking up the incorrect passenger, however the lack of support or care shown to customers is extremely poor!

Friendly and helpful staff, on reception Gigi was very helpful, catering manager and Sruti in the dining areas were very welcoming.

Immediately in the taxi appraaching the hotel I was in shock with urgent need of painting of the overall facades but then entering the reception hall I was positively impacted by the area and thought “bad winter”. I was assigned to a Suite in the last floor but the views were nothing but other buildings. The room was old, badly cleaned, although acceptable linen but rocks instead of pillows! Bleach is a word to be teached over there. Still, the dinners at the restaurant were surprisingly above average! Most staff not very friendly especially the reception: they are so busy they do not bother to look into your face. This is a place you feel constantly facing contrasts. When you are not happy with something they positively surprise you with something like i.e. the sustainable offer of bottles to be refiled in a local water fountain !!! 10 for this. In summary: zero to cleaning and daily housekeeping; average breakfast; good dining restaurant; very average location. Pay a bit more but stay closer to Paris and a healthier hotel. This one needs an urgent facelift in all areas including Human Resources
