Incorrectly charged for the stay

I was incorrectly charged for my stay. Attempts to rectify the issue has me ringing the hotel several times. Each time the response was the staff would look into it and return my call. This did not occur. It took me more than a fortnight with many calls to attempt resolving this. The end result was I was still overcharged and debit card surcharge of 1.45% was incurred without prior knowledge.

New hotel, comfortable bed - I didn’t want to get out of it. I do find it difficult to book rooms at this hotel, I quite often make last minute bookings and I often book with the competition near by.
