The hotel was very nice. The only suggest is there was no common space to relax with a cup of coffee for the the restaurants opened on the weekends.

very accommodating but wish the rooms were a lil bit more updated the chairs were peeling and uncomfortable to sit on in the room, the fridge was not cold and extremely small. The customer service was great.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square during our visit to enjoy the Cherry Blossom Festival, overall, it was a delightful experience. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff, whose hospitality truly made us feel welcome throughout my stay. The luxury and comfort of the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Our room was elegantly furnished, offering a blend of modern amenities and classic sophistication. The plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, while the spacious layout provided ample room to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The hotel's close location to some of the most well-known sights in Washington, DC, was definitely one of the highlights of our visit. We had no trouble seeing well-known sites including the Smithsonian museums, the White House and more because of its convenient location. Being able to explore the rich history and culture of the city at our own leisure was made possible by the ease of being able to stroll to these sights. Overall, our experience at the Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square was truly exceptional. I always feel very welcome when I return to the Sofitel. The lobby is small but elegant and comfortable, and there are always happy people sitting or dining there. I arrived early but the kind desk clerk found an available room so that I was able to check in early and make myself comfortable before my meetings began. The room and bathroom were immaculate, quiet and comfortable. I love the French fashion photographs in the elevators and around the building. It is a very short walk to the National Museum of Women in the Arts where some of my meetings were held, so the location is excellent. There was a fun and lively scene in the sidewalk cafe / bar in the afternoons and early evening. A group of us had dinner at the Opaline Bar & Restaurant which was rewarding. My salmon was delicious, and the service was excellent. . My salmon was delicious.

I stayed at this hotel with a group. The location to the subway was very convenient. Every aspect of the hotel was perfect. There was a quality restaurant across the street and other amenities within two blocks. A perfect stay!
