My daughter took me back to my hometown, Chicago, to celebrate my birthday and we stayed at your hotel. From check-in to check out, it was a wonderful stay. Friendly staff who wished me happy birthday. A plate of birthday treats, macarons, an upgraded room with stunning views. Comfortable room with everything needed for a restful trip. I do wish there was a way to make tea, rather than coffee in the room. Thank you for helping me celebrate a memorable birthday. We always choose Sofitel for a good reason😊

Our stay with Sofitel was a gift from family for our visit to Chicago. We were thrilled to be staying in a five star hotel, and the room gave a grand and beautiful impression. I was particularly excited about the separate bathtub. Unfortunately there were curly black hairs all over the bathroom. Literally everywhere. I am not sure how they were missed because it looked like the room had otherwise been cleaned, but it definitely made me disappointed given this is supposed to be a five star hotel. The breakfast was underwhelming as well, especially for the cost. Pros: great customer service, incredibly comfortable bed, quiet room and enjoyed the in-room speaker.

All was good except leaving. Concierge staff is confused and didn’t bring out my luggage as I asked
