One of the best insights into any culture is through art, and the National Gallery of Australia (NGA) has a great collection of Indigenous art. Take in textiles created by Aboriginal artists, enjoy early bark paintings and sculptures, and check out 19th century objects that reflect life in Australia. 
The NGA collection of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander art is made up of over 7,500 works and is the largest in the world. The designs, patterns, and stories you’ll see as you explore the collection have been taught across generations.
