I choose Pay at hotel, ideally when I check in or check out then I should be given option to pay via the channel I prefer and deposit can be taken during the check in, instead entire pay was collected before check in itself. My bank called me in mid night to check for fraud and disturbing my sleep and creating unecessary friction. I have to get it reveresed and redeem with points and pay remaining via credit card, just unnecessary hassle. The hote executive mentioned that it was deducted for protection against no show as it was 1 mnight stay only. If Accor can deduct a day before check in, you could do that if I am no show as well. Apart from this payment issue, property was pretty good, well conencted. I will prefer to stay again here, hopefully payment friction wouldn't be present next time around
