I've been staying at the Fairmont on and off for 30 years during SPORTEL (depending on which company I've been working for, the Fairmont is always my personal choice) and it never fails to please, from the welcome at the reception desk to the helpful front of house team, the high standard of room maintenance and the facilities; I am very fond of stays in your hotel. My only complaint is the curious lack of attention to in-room amenities for business travelers; it astonishes me that in 2021 there are no available plugs in the room for powering laptops and charging phones -or even to plug in the iron. It is necessary to crawl around the floor and unplug lamps or coffee makers, a serious oversight from an otherwise excellent hotel.

Hotel rooms in need of an upgrade. It is crazy that there are no USB plugs in the rooms in 2021.

33 years ago we stayed at your beautiful hotel for our honeymoon . We came back two kids, six houses, 2 cats, numerous fights and many heartbreaks later to revisit your beautiful city, Thank you for the wonderful second honeymoon. Perhaps you will give us a discount for the third honeymoon!

Hotel is very big and hence is the service anonymous and unpersonal. Staff especially after pandemic is obviously trying to maintain an good service. Overall pricing is extremely overrated - staying in a 5 star Belmond Hotel comes out cheaper for one week, than this older 4 star hotel...

The room was excellent, as was the Horizon bar and restaurant and the rest of the hotel. Wearing face masks in public areas is a waste of time, and no longer required in London, for example, but that is not your fault of course. So overall a good stay.

During the Monaco Yacht Show the location is very well located. However, the hotel compared to previous years really requires a revamp. The façade of the hotel is becoming run down. The hotel rooms on the grand prix side are outdated and give a feeling of an old florida hotel room. The sea side is much better, but carpets are stained, wood work in the rooms are chipped and the carpets in the hall way are also stained in many locations. For the money that is being charged you would expect a much higher standard. The very positive benefits of the hotel are Nikki Beach and Nobu! The lobby of the hotel is also good, but once you really get inside the hallways is where it starts to go downhill. Again, the location is great and only wish updates were made based on the cost of a nights stay. Staff in general are very helpful and polite.

Super hotel, additional beach facilities with hotel transport (nice touch), restaurants very clean and served delicious food. right in the heart of Monaco. Bedrooms - beds extremely comfortable, with crisp sheets, bathroom clean with white fluffy towels and bathrobes. Nikki Beach - great area to hang out with friends, excellent remixes. Staff superb helping with sun loungers and drinks......could have stayed longer!!

The hotel staff were rude ! The rooms were very old and dirty !! And on top of that they started construction work at 7am on a weekend !

Very disappointing hotel and appalling service

We made a big mistake in choosing this hotel. The first night we ate at the hotel restaurant on the 7th floor. Service was truly appalling even though the bill for two exceeded 300 euro. Breakfast the following morning was more like being at a Butlin's holiday camp than a 4 star. Long queues and once again poor service. Although breakfast was included in the deal we did not return. Our first visit to Monte Carlo was spoiled by the hotel experience. Do visit the car museum though, absolutely fantastic.

Right in the front of the hotel customers may enjoy a huge working place with dragging machine working from early morning to late evening (10.30 pm)! For the price of this hotel this is not acceptable. In the top of that, if you chose Fairmont confirmed by Accor, be aware that your stay doesn't count for your fidelity program. It is a joke!
